"We did a week-long vacation for my 50th birthday. This property was about 20 minutes away from Cancun. We were lucky because occupancy was low, so we had great service and lines were not long at all. We reserved an Amber room which included butler services and a great view of the ocean. The Butler team of Cesar, Lupita, Gabriela, & Sandy helped us make the restaurant reservations. Another perk was access to Elite Adults Only Amber Lounge with premium drinks/appetizers and great ocean view. Daily entertainment and pool activities were available. The bartenders and wait staff were extremely friendly and eager to serve.
There was a total of 6 restaurants open and available: Buffet, Steakhouse, Italian, Mexican, Pool Bar/Snacks with had delicious fish tacos and grilled items, & Tea House for coffee, pastries, and paninis. Galerie des Sens was closed the whole week.
The attached beach had significant amount of Sargassum no matter how much the crew try to clear it. We did make a day trip to Isla Mujares to enjoy the beautiful beaches and explore in a golf cart. The road leading to the resort was damaged by the Service trucks and Guest buses that goes through there. All the resorts or government need to come together and repair that small patch of roads and Speed bumps.
