Ventus Ha at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive

"The property itself is beautiful, with lovely scenery, wildlife, and pools. Unfortunately, the beach, as many reviews mention, isn’t worth the trip. The food was some of the better I’ve had at an all-inclusive, but the service from check-in to check-out was disappointing. Except for the wait staff they were amazing. The concierge service especially needs improvement. I felt confused and uninformed even before arriving. Since I was traveling with my 11-month-old twins and mother-in-law, I called a week ahead to arrange dinner reservations after reading that restaurants book quickly. I was told they would reserve one of my restaurant choices and that I could make the rest upon arrival. No reservation was actually made, and once we checked in, it was extremely difficult to get dinner reservations for the week. Once we arrived, we received very little information about the resort, no welcome package or guidance. I also upgraded to a presidential suite because our original rooms were far apart, but the rooms were not very clean which remained an issue throughout the stay. The next morning, I received a call apologizing for the missing welcome package and was told one would be waiting at the lobby. When I went to retrieve it, the staff had no idea what I was referring to. Overall, the property has a lot of potential, but the service, communication, and organization need significant improvement."

"Very nice resort. The 2 bedroom suite was amazing- huge! We enjoyed the pool, excursions, in-town visits (very safe), and even the kids club! The food was great and the experience was memorable."

"The hotel was older hotel and needed some updates. Staff was very helpful and polite. They had many food choices and food was great one thing that I wish that somebody told me that there is a lot of seaweeds on the beach and beach was not accessible. They were working hard to clean it, but the seaweeds were just coming from the water. I wish that they can somehow build entertainment stage where they can fit a lot of people and be prepared for weather inclement we were at the show and he started raining and we were forced to go inside and the show was canceled. Overall, it is a great hotel and Iberostar is always one of my top choice when comes to hotels in Cancun. Thank you"

"I personally thought it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had but at the end I got charged for a spa treatment that I thought it was free and frankly I regret to have it. My mom thought we were paying only $40 x person and having $400 bonus I thought it was covered but we paid $300 for 3 treatments that included a sauna, a water massage and a massage for, that I thought it was too much. First of all I am a paraplegic and since I can’t stand up I only got the massage compare to my mom that also got the water massage and our friend that got the sauna too on top of the other treatments. But they got our receipts signed by us so we couldn’t complain. Next time I won’t use the bonus. But everything else was fabulous, except the night show that they were changing the spot were they were doing it all the time so we could see only 2 but frankly was more than enough because at the end of the night we were all tired and we couldn’t wait to go back to sleep in our rooms because the daily entertainment was so good and we couldn’t wait to do it"

"A stellar airport hotel- beautiful pool and grounds, large bedrooms, helpful and friendly staff, a good breakfast included. Extra bonuses: it is pet friendly if you are traveling with a dog; and there are a nail salon, massage therapy spa and OXXO right next door. Quite impressive for a reasonably priced airport hotel. Highly recommended."

"The best thing about this property is its amazing staff. Every team member goes above and beyond to make your stay truly unforgettable, and their hospitality is what makes this hotel stand out. The biggest drawback is the buffet. It is very small and is only open for breakfast and lunch. In addition, the selection of food is quite limited and lacks the variety you would expect from an all-inclusive resort. That said, Sonia, Monse, Luis, Adriana, and Margarita provided outstanding service and made every meal more enjoyable. The Italian restaurant was excellent and easily my favorite dining experience. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Zulue, Jorge, and Alberto took great care of us and delivered first-class hospitality. The Asian restaurant was average. The service was slow, and the food from the regular menu was below expectations. However, Esteban completely turned our experience around during our second visit at the teppanyaki table. Our room was spotless, well maintained, and very comfortable. It honestly felt like we were staying at a different property—in the best possible way. The main pool was nice, but having only one bartender at the pool bar resulted in slow service. Unfortunately, most of the cocktails were excessively sweet. We are very familiar with Hyatt's all-inclusive brands, and based on our experience, this property does not fully deliver the level of quality and consistency we typically associate with a Dreams resort."
