"The resort is beautiful! We have stayed at All Inclusive resorts many times, but none have come close the the Excellence Riviera. The grounds are extremely clean and neat, the room was comfortable, clean, well stocked and had a good view of the grounds. The staff... every staff member we encountered was polite and friendly, greeting guests as they walked past. Even the grounds keepers were friendly! There was not any need or request that was not met. There are Coatis, iguanas and capibara on the property that were fun to watch. The water all along the coast is choked with seaweed in July and August, so if you want ocean time right off the resorts, now is not the time to go. The resort is really good about keeping the seaweed removed from the beach so you can still enjoy sitting on the beach, you simply have to deal with the smell. You can take boats out to open water and get away from the smell of the seaweed which is nice. The smell of the seaweed does travel through the resort, but it is not that bad. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from, and the food at each of them is amazing! If you enjoy a great steak, The Grill has many options, and Chez Isabell has the most amazing filet mignon! The resort is adults only, but does not lack for activities or entertainment. They have different singers and acts through the week that are professional worthy. Every interaction with the staff makes you want to go back and be treated like you are family and you are home"

"the hotel mas fabulous, we travel with my family, our childrens love it. they have a lot of things to do with the childrens. the food is fantastic, and you have a lot of options for dinnig. the service was great of all the staff of the hotel. they have great pools and a lot of activities for children."

"The resort is exactly as what you see in the pictures. They have two pools although one is under construction right now and a huge jacuzzi. They have six restaurants and also a big variety of food. The food offered at the pool was okay, I would have loved chips and guacamole and wings. Their buffet is open for breakfast and lunch, I did miss some traditional Mexican dishes such as menudo and birria. On the property there is also a 24-hour cafe that not only has coffee but ice cream and desserts as well. The rooms are spacious with such comfy beds and pillows. I had no trouble falling asleep each night. They have a nightclub and a theater for shows. I loved the Queen show, it was my favorite. One night they had a dinner right on the beach with a fire show. Overall, the stay here was great, staff is simply fabulous at the pool, at the restaurants, and for entertainment. The one item that needs work is maybe switch up the music at the pool from time to time. Manuel and Mario at the bar make the best cocktails so hit them up when you are there. I had to wait to check out when it was time to leave but a fabulous experience. If you love karaoke and a good fiesta, this is the resort for you."

"Most welcoming staff and restaurants are top notch 👌 Only issue was there was soo much seaweed which gave off a bad odor and couldn’t enjoy the beach but I do understand this was beyond the resort and staff control . However I will return to this property at any time ."

"We had a amazing Expedia Concierge his name was Fabian Tapia. He was amazing he helped us with information on the events going on at the hotel. Any questions we had at anytime of the day he was so quick to respond and always would give us the best service. He made our time there very easy and memorable. Thank you Fabian for everything. The hotel was beautiful I loved the nightly entertainment was great the pools are beautiful rooms where nice and the restaurants where so delicious."
