"First and foremost, pay attention to their uncompromising cancellation and change policy! They do not budge. Also, the "no outside food" policy is ridiculous. "This hotel was exceptionally clean. We've used to wipe clean by ourselves all the surfaces even in 5-stars hotels in this part of the World but over the past 7 years this was the first time when we didn't need to do so. Everything was spotless! Also the general wibe in the hotel is very nice. The staff was super friendly and the food was good. "A hidden gem! This place is a beautiful oasis by the beach. We stayed in one of the cottages, raised in the middle of the pristine gardens. Loved the traditional design of the wooden cottages, the lush, gardens, waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning, the swimming pool is lovely especially in the evening when it’s not too hot. Special kudos to the Bongo beach shack, that marks the approach of the Little India to the beach. Here the staff really makes you feel home and well looked...

"We had to change 3 rooms due to (1) noise and construction dust (2) leaking shower door and (3) we were stuck in this room for the remainder of the stay with fowl urine stench from the drain pipes. The Hotel GM was very sympathetic and did try to resolve the issue but it appeared to be a more systemic issue on that floor not just our room. We do appreciate the GM’s effort in helping us That being said the staff was very helpful and esp the Exec Chef attended to our dietary needs."
