"Lovely, clean, quiet hotel. We stayed there prior to a visit to Eagles Nest, which was a short drive from there. There is a nice bar next door, which was convenient for food. We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor and were initially worried that it would be noisy in the morning as it was right next to the entrance to the kitchen. We didn't need to be as we didn't hear a thing, despite the breakfast room being quite busy when we went in. There was a good choice for breakfast. No air conditioning...

"This hotel is amazing. It’s the best 5 star we have stayed at. The hotel staff are so welcoming and always there to help you. The views are just incredible, we booked a panoramic room and it was definitely worth it. The pools are lovely and the restaurants excellent. The breakfast has everything you could possibly want! Everything is excellent quality and is a lot more reasonably priced than a five star in the UK."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Kulturhof Stanggass. Hotel is not far from town so it’s easy to walk to but still a distance away so it feels more secluded. We enjoyed the breakfast and they have an egg station for omelettes and such. All the staff were helpful and made sure we had a fan for each sleeping quarter since there is no AC in the rooms. That was really the only drawback for this hotel but we knew that when we booked the room so it was expected. The room does stay warm in the summer...

"Very cosy alpine ski hotel. We had superior room It was very spacious and we had lovely view of the starry night sky from our balcony. The staff were really friendly but a few couldn’t speak to us as we don’t know German. So we did get ignored for breakfast order the final two mornings. Other than than breakfast was great! One other issue is no tea/coffee facilities in room so ended up being charged for tea every evening. "

"This was the nicest Gasthof I stayed in on this trip. The room felt new and spacious. The bathroom was very sleek. No A/C (expected), but the window had a bug screen and they gave me a fan when I asked. The staff was friendly and helpful. I asked for laundry services and it was very mindfully done and a good value. Would definitely come back if I return to Berchtesgaden!"
