"What a fantastic hotel. Currently being refurbished and only refurbed rooms are available (according to front desk). My refurbed bedroom was really good. Bar hasnā€™t yet reopened hence my lower score on amenities. The staff are so proud of the hotel and that shows in their attitude. Although a mile further out than I usually stay, the train and tram links are excellent and the local park is quieter than some more central. Great place."

"The hotel room was spacious but not overly clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast selection was excellent. The location is also a great bonus being right in the centre. However the pool facilities were not very well maintained. There were broken tiles around the pool and no one maintaining the area which meant there were used towels strew everywhere and it was very slippery. One of our party actually slipped and fell over hurting themselves."
