"Beautiful inn. Staff were very nice. Ceiling in bathroom had crack, looking like a water leak, but clean room. Comfortable bed. Suggestion would be for small breakfast or snack other than muffins or provide butter with them. Very beautiful inside as well as the mountains."

"This is an older property in an excellent location. We had a room in the annex with a balcony overlooking the stream and slept with the screen door open to the sound of running water. This is a great place to stay if you're exploring Crawford State Park or Mt. Washington. The onsite restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner, easily some of the best food we had while touring rhe White Mountains."

"Great location for a New England fall foliage vacation. The hotel is beautiful. I loved the sweet treat that were in lobby upon our arrival. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was above our expectations. We enjoyed all of the areas available for guests to lounge around and enjoy the view."

"This is a great hotel, except a few things need updating. First we didn't have Wi-fi in our section of the building. The sofa was so old in our room it felt like you were having to get up from the floor after sitting down. If you're a senior and get stuck on the second floor, plan on carrying luggage up to your room. The room was clean and the bed and shower were great which I give high marks. We ate at the restaurant which I give sub par marks. Very old hotel a classic with a golf course. I would come back but not eat there."

For the first time in 10 years, we watched the first rays of sunlight and the sunrise emerging behind the beautiful, colorful autumn mountains from our bedroom balcony.
