"Property was very clean and quaint, the owner was pleasant and helpful.
The only downside would be the stairs to the upper floors, they were narrow and steep.
Also, no air conditioning, but the temperature there does not warrant AC on most days😎

"The shower pod is literally in the room you sleep in at the bottom of the bed. I had no idea this was the case when booking as I’ve never known anything like it! There is zero privacy! I stayed at the Van der Valk Hotel and was genuinely impressed. This is a beautiful, modern hotel in a fantastic location—just a short 2-minute walk to the metro and less than 15 minutes into central Amsterdam. It’s the ideal balance of convenience and calm.
The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. My room was spacious, spotless, and stylishly designed, with all the modern comforts you’d hope for. The on-site spa and gym were excellent additions, perfect for unwinding or keeping up with a fitness routine.
Honestly, I can’t see why anyone would leave a negative review. Everything exceeded expectations, and I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Amsterdam. Highly recommended!
