Comfort Suites Rensselaer near Fair Oaks

"Clean, decent place with comfortable bed and a spacious room, though the freezer compartment in the mini fridge did not have a door. (But at least there was a freezer compartment.) The complementary breakfast (featuring DIY waffles) and anytime coffee and tea are a nice touch. No herbal tea, however. If you want to fill up your water bottle, there’s a water cooler in the fitness room. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, though they seemed perhaps understaffed at times."
Dockside Lake Resort

"This property is very close to Indiana Beach amusement park. They even have a trolley pick up right outside the resort property so you don’t have to walk the 0.3 miles to or from park. They have a pool in front that is 4 feet deep all the way around, very clean and very refreshing. The parking is safe and right outside your cabin/room you rented. There is no staff on duty so everything is done through text or email. As a first time visitor everything was done through email, which caused a delay & was slightly frustrating during check-in process. Just be sure to keep refreshing your email if you use a third-party to rent from. As for the property, between the cabins, there is a fire pit area to sit outside, and there is also a staircase down to the lake with a small narrow dock for you to go fishing or use the lake as you see fit. We stayed in guest room number 11. It’s a handicap accessible room with a ramp to the door. The room is a studio set up with a metal framed bed, 1 nightstand w/lamp, futon, & dresser w/a tv on top. Kitchen area had a table w/2 chairs, cabinets with place settings, a small Keurig, toaster, sink & mini fridge/freezer. It had a full-size bathroom with a standup shower. The room was very clean. Equipped w/everything you should need. Only issues: -Windows could use some curtains to reduce the light coming in -Sheet thread count is low, rough to sleep on -The shower head could use an extension to raise it up. (We’re tall 5’9+) All in all great place!"
