"The Good: Convenient location, spacious, nice "Big Bear" style wood bedframe, hot tub had plenty of hot water (but 2 of the jets point straight up, so prepare to have an unexpected shower!) The Bad: Fireplace was broken. We weren't informed beforehand, and we should have been. The fireplace was one of the main reasons we booked the room, The property manager did not seem to feel badly at all about this and did not offer us any consolation, discount, etc. Very disappointing, definitely made us feel not appreciated or respected. The hot tub is in the living room, where there is a large window that faces the parking lot. Instead of having curtains on that window, there's only 2 very cheap paper-like blinds, which don't close together fully. So if you plan on using the hot tub, either wear a bathing suit, or know you can easily be spied on from outside. Also, the floor was quite dirty/sandy, the bathroom door squeaks loudly, and sometimes you have to jiggle the toilet handle for it to flush properly. "

"The moment you walk into the lobby it takes you back few decades but in a good way. They have a beautiful lobby nice vintage set up with a modern twist. Staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. The room we got was beautiful it also had a vintage look to the room which was very relaxing and provided pure comfort throughout our stay. The property was quiet and peaceful even being on the main highway in town you couldn't hear much of the cars on the road. The location is great as planned its located not to far from the village and few minutes away from grocery store if you plan on cooking in the room which made the stay feel like being at home. Overall great new hotel from what the staff informed us its a newly remodeled hotel with great upside potential. I cant wait till they get that bar going in the lobby. Good luck I hope nothing but the best for this location..... Also if they're was one thing I would change is i would take the tv out the room and put into near the fireplace. We couldn't enjoy the fire while watching a movie at the same time which was a bummer but it sure won't stop us from returning!"

"Nice, clean, comfortable room; within 10 minutes of Bear Mountain resort. Nice restaurant, with lake view, within 100 yards. Only issue was that there was not a single bottle of water, nor coffee filters, in the room."

"Centrally located in the village. Pool was nicely heated. Room was updated. Not a fan of the memory foam bed though. This particular room is near an exit door that can be a little loud."

"We did not get a balcony room as requested. The window in the room did not lock and they could not fix it so they moved us to a new room. The new rooms on the third floor AC was working so we slept in a hot room, therefore no sleep."
