The room was beautiful; very clean and spacious. The property was in an excellent location, tucked away on a private beach and the key deer were adorable. It was an easy drive to both Marathon and Key West. Would definitely stay here again.

I booked on the day of arriving (weekday) within a hour I had all the information needed for entry. Rooms were clean. BBQ grill, cooking utensils, kayaks, rowboat and bicycles are there to enjoy. Property is on a private road so there is very little traffic and noise was non-existent. The lady on property was so sweet and made my stay that much more enjoyable. If you enjoy being outside, you will see deer, they are everywhere and will walk up to you. Nature at its finest, so pleasant. Sign on property says feeding or touching deer is unlawful and can be fined or even jailed. I seen several enjoying baby carrots 🤔

The location was great. This stay was vastly overpriced. The "bed and breakfast" did not serve breakfast, which cost us extra. The bikes were so rusty they couldn't be ridden, there was broken furniture and trash all around the property. A refund would be appropriate.

It’s a dump inside and out. Called a bed and breakfast. Has a dirty bed and no breakfast. Don’t waste your money or time.

This place is way over priced ($350+/night). There were roaches in our room. It is not a bed and breakfast, which is how it was listed. As soon as I paid for the room, I received an email saying they do not offer breakfast. The beach is covered in seaweed which smells like rotten eggs. I know this is not their fault but good to know before spending a lot of money on this place. There was a lot of trash on the beach as well. It is not a swimmable beach due to the seaweed. They have kayaks available but to use them you will need to make your way through 6 inches of mud, seaweed and flies to get the kayak into the water. The room had a Keurig and some coffee pods but only a plastic cup or a wine glass to drink coffee out of. They provided creamer and sugar but nothing to stir the coffee with. And did I mention the roaches!!!

The staff was great! But the gem of the property is the seclusion with the amazing view of the ocean…Absolutely stunning! Loved it…Would stay there again!

DECEPCIONADA POIS NÃO FOI BARATO

NAO RECOMENDO.Quando chegamos parecia um lugar abandonado e assustador ,estávamos ja saindo quando chegou a xxxx para nos receber,explicou como abrir a porta e perguntou se não havíamos recebido o email explicando.Eu entendo que,resort é um local que oferece recreação e hospedagem.Tinha umas 3 bikes com as correntes enferrujadas e dois caiaques abandonados no meio da terra.O local não tem carinho aparente,a aparência é assustadora e de abandono.Chegamos no dia 13/04, no dia 14/04 ficamos esperando a moça que está sempre com muita pressa para nos informar onde seria o breakfast,surpresa ,o Resort que não é resort e tem o nome de Barnacle Resort,tb não serve café,mas na foto tem café,me responderam que não estavam mais servindo,mas que voltariam a servir e que no quarto tem cápsulas e máquina de café .So tinha 2 cápsulas de café.Esperei que ao voltar no dia 14/04 ,após passar o dia fora ,pelo menos encontraria outras cápsulas,mas nem entraram no quarto,cama sem arrumar,lixo sem retirar,sem contar as mãozinhas decorativas e o espelho,SINISTRO,a máquina de gelo faz barulho o tempo todo,e a mesa de trabalho precisou ser calçada para eu poder trabalhar.Enfim,a minha confiança no hotels.com e muito grande,jamais imaginei me deparar com uma estadia como essa. A noite recebi um e-mail informando que devemos sair às 10:00 e para fazermos a gentileza de deixar as toalhas no chão do banheiro e o quarto arrumado ,só faltou deixar a vassoura rs,a praia sem condições de usar,sinto

Good to be in front of the water, nice staff clean room, good that we can borrow bike and kayaks. We were surprised to receive two different messages almost at the same time after we checked it, one was that we would get breakfast and the other was the breakfast would be canceled. In the advertisement it's written that there is Seaview from the room but actually the room is on the top of the hose with two windows on the roof, no view at all.. We were disappointed

Quiet and scenic view, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from the daily rush, hotel breakfast was very nice to have, not driving around, was simple but fresh and healthy choices for a small breakfast convenient to find good breakfast spots and dining places within driving distance, about 45 convenient and fun drive to key west

I wish I had known, and this is my fault for not knowing that the Keys beaches aren't usable. We tried to kayak once but the beach was so rocky so far out that it was difficult, swimming was impossible. The location was very quiet and not touristy like Key West, which is what we were looking for. The breakfast was abysmal (packaged bagels, yogurt and cold cereal), I've had better at a Best Western. The location is right on the Atlantic and parking is free and easy. The treehouse is rustic and has a shower the size of a submarine shower and bring your own body soap. But its nice and private and separate from the main building. The key deer visit nightly and are adorable. If you want to read a book in the sun or shade and watch the sea all day, this is a nice place to do it.
