The Whitley, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Atlanta Buckhead

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful family stay at The Whitley and would absolutely stay again. From arrival through check-out, the service was consistently excellent. We arrived early after a red-eye, and although our room wasn’t immediately available, the front desk and breakfast teams made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. Several staff members really stood out. The bellman who brought up our luggage was incredibly kind and engaging with our five-year-old son, and Eddy at the front door joked and interacted with him throughout our stay. Our son would actually be disappointed when Eddy wasn’t there. The staff serving afternoon cocktails and pretzels in the lobby were also extremely courteous and added to the sense of Southern hospitality. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel paid attention to small details that made the stay easier. The fitness centre was modern, clean and very well equipped for both cardio and weights. Even things like the in-room hair dryer and seamless YouTube connection were noticeably better than what we often find in hotels. We were in Atlanta for several days of wedding celebrations, and The Whitley became a very comfortable home base for our family. We experienced excellent hospitality throughout Atlanta, but the warmth and consistency of the staff at The Whitley really stood out. Highly recommended."

Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Buckhead Place

8/10 Good

"Clean, modern room, friendly staff. Average breakfast but very weak coffee. The breakfast area is well maintained. Construction happening outside the hotel so pay attention. Also arrive on time or early as late arrivals end up parking in the adjacent garage."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead

8/10 Good

"The women at the counter when we checked out was very short with us. The valet service had no record of our car…or keys even though we had a receipt. We found our car in the parking lot but it took them another hour to find the key. We wanted to report this to the manager of the hotel so he was aware and the front desk clerk got very rude. The folks at the counter when we checked in were helpful, but the woman this morning left us unhappy with the hotel."

Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Stayed in a king room for an event (minus car) and found this to be an good option for a business stay in the immediate area or for events. The bed was maybe the best I've ever slept in, the room was spacious, hot water was more than ample, and soundproofing despite second floor next to elevator held up. Shuttle runs in a loop to nearby Metro and mall. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had breakfast buffet, was tasty and had many good options including protein. Note that there is a daily charge for parking, also breakfast is not cheap, account for this in price comparisons."
