"The Villas of Amelia Island is part of the Omni Resort, which is great because you can use the Omni amenities (pool, fitness, beach, etc.). The bad part, though, is that we were assigned a room in Turtle Dunes, which is the farthest villa from the main resort (over a mile away). They do have shuttle service throughout the result, which is relatively efficient, but it means you have to shuttle back and forth to the pool, beach, restaurants, etc. every time you want to do something, which takes a lot of time away from your vacation. Also, the food everywhere is very expensive, and so are the amenities, such as renting beach chairs, etc. That said, the room was nice, with a huge bathroom and a beautiful view, and that part of the resort was extremely quiet, even on a busy spring break week.
