"This were lovely rooms (we booked two, as there was a group of four of us) and they were identical, except one had a shower, the other a bath. They were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, it is worth noting they don't serve food on Sundays but we were guided to a local pub within five minutes walk as an alternative. "

"The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring all the attractions, shops and restaurants in the city centre. It was very clean, the room was perfect for us and the bathroom was spotless and well maintained. The shower was good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially a lovely lady who was serving at the bar. "Cant beat the location. Just next to York Minster and tons of restaurants. Walking distance to the Shambles and almost everything. The only issue that actually makes our stay not comfortable is that the hotel does not have Air conditioner. We were there during heat wave and this make the stay in the room really unbearable. The temperature in the room was so much higher than the outside. The staff was nice and try to give us 2 fans and a bucket of ice. Still felt very hot. The breakfast was set...

"A delightful place to stay in a great location with lovely hosts. A short 10-15 minute walk and you're in middle of town with all the sights. Breakfast consists of lots of fresh homemade options that are top notch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with refreshments and amazing smelling toiletries. Would love to stay again.
