Needed somewhere to stay while sorting a van, first impressions were not great the hotel lacks a friendly welcome and the decor is a bit rough, The room was a good size with a double and a large single there is a fridge, tv, wall heater and kettle, Hot drinks in sachets are supplied along with portions of milk, beds were clean but had seen better days regarding comfort, There is secondary double glazing which is full of condensation by the morning, The worst part is the bathroom although functional the basin and toilet had large cracks in them, The bath had been painted with what appeared to be emulsion paint which was flaking off all over, Lots of hot water two rough towels and a pump bottle of some kind of soap is provided, All in all it is a little grubby and dated and the receptionist was cold and unwelcoming but for £45 for a saturday night it was acceptable.
