"The hotel is nice and clean. Just located behind the gas station and views from the rooms not very nice. A little far for walking to beaches and center of town, but close enough to Point Lobos. We had a good time."

"Our room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was a bit dark and needed some TLC . The hot tub and pool were nice. The property lay out is a bit confusing. They told us where our room was, but not how to get there. It was down a lot of stairs and that is difficult with luggage. Overall it was a nice stay, but for the money I probably won't return."

"Amazing room! We were overlooking the ocean & the room also had a 270 degree circular atrium! Made you want to just lounge in there & have everything brought to you. Lovely neighborhood & grounds, so close to the beach. Very clean with lovely amenities including an elaborate snack tray & champagne for our anniversary. Staff is friendly & helpful. We have stayed in many inns, b&bs & hotels in the Carmel area over the years. This one is a keeper. We will be back in the fall for our birthdays.😊"

"Carmel Valley Lodge was amazing! There are so many positive things to comment on! The outdoor life size games like Chess, Connect 4, Jenga were super cool! The pool area was beautiful and quiet - I loved the loungers, the hot tub, the fire pit. My room also had a partially closed off front porch which I enjoyed sitting out there drinking coffee, listening to the birds. There aren't enough words to describe the greatness of the staff - from the greeting when I entered to the small talk about tv...

"Well the signs for the entrance was confusing and not properly laid out. The gate for where we stayed needs to be fixed but still closed and lastly I don’t mind being naked at all using the tub in front of the room’s outdoor patio at the entrance of the room; other guests who are shy probably won’t use it?"

"Cozy, clean, and quiet place to stay. After a long day of hiking was hoping to sit in the hot tub, it wasn’t hot as we thought it would be. Other than that, loved the coffee and bagels in the morning. I would stay here again."
