"The location of the comfort inn is great and convenient for visitors to get around the shopping and dining in nearby towns. We loved the sweet tea and would have liked having sweet tea in addition to coffee in the lobby a few more breakfast items would be better. Our stay was comfortable and staff was friendly."

"No anonymous decor here. Each room in this converted old home was uniquely furnished with period furniture and comfortable, though our room could use a good deep cleaning. Breakfast was very good and it was an easy walk to everything in town."

"First thing you notice ,when you check in ,is the musky smell .My wife notice it immediately ,it was a total negative for her.The room was clean .The king size bed was awful ,along with the pillows.My wife did like the shower hot waster.Low scores were because of the bed and pillows.."

Our kids especially loved the game room and the pool, and they had so much fun exploring the stream and walking path just outside the hotel—they didn’t want to leave! "We had an unexpected stop due to car issues late at night, and Kathy at the check in desk was wonderful. Kind, welcoming, and even later checked to make sure we had enough towels. Gave us recommendations on where to eat later at night. We just passed through so didn’t get to utilize any of the amenities. A bit older with drop ceiling in rooms, but clean and very convenient."

"I have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn several times and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A nice touch is tea time every afternoon - our kids love it and so do we! The pool is beautiful especially with the two fire pits near by. The Whip has great food and atmosphere. Will continue to stay here anytime I go to Stowe. The only suggestion I have for them is to upgrade the WiFi. Still 5 stars!! Love the GMI!!!"

"Cant say enough amazing things about my stay at Mad River Lodge! The inn-keeper Dana was so kind and gave ideas for activities in the area and helped me get to my wedding when we had no ideas on how to get there. The whole experience was so personable, and I loved the shared space with a chess board, games, tea, and coffee!"

"Stayed over July 2nd. They were gearing up for the 4th but everything other than the main lodge was closed which was a bummer. The pool was great, and the place looks really awesome, just wish it had been more active."
