Hotel.com website indicates that there is free parking but the hotel charges £15 for parking. The hotel seemed quite rundown but the room we had was okay. It was very noisy in the hotel.

Missed in the small print: £15 a night for parking. £60 cash deposit on arrival. No answer on call prior to arrival. Once managed to check in it was ok. Werent aware one of the rooms we booked had a shared bathroom. The triple room had a good layout. Bed was uncomfortable. Mattress springs had gone, my hips could feel the frame. Basic but fine. Get what you pay for.

Great location and friendly staff

I was pretty satisfied with our stay at the Colonial Hotel, the location was perfect, on the promenade, close to the Pleasure Beach and a tram stop 2 minutes away. The staff were very friendly and let us leave our luggage there on our last day so we could visit a few more attractions. I would definitely reccommend this hotel to others who are looking for somewhere to stay at an affordable price and in a good location without frills. I would stay there again.

Excellent hotel with a real buzzing atmosphere, felt like I was in Spain not Blackpool. Weather good, views onto the pier and a stone throw from all facilities. I will be coming back ❤️
