A little cottage in the local farm along Route 1. Beautiful farm land view, little church…a different experience. Check in instructions is a bit confusing. Expedia says owners will send email instructions within 48hrs of check in time but I didn’t get any email . Fortunately owner’s relatives are on site. So check in ends up being smooth.

We loved staying at the cottage! Very different and relaxing. It’s about 23 miles away from Blönduós. Amazing backyard, and Freya the owner was very sweet. Thomas was also helpful and sweet when we got there.

Great guesthouse with a view!

We stayed in the apartment and it was comfortable and fully equipped. It's a lovely farm in the base of a valley with stunning 360 views. Right off of route 1 and a perfect stopping point on your trip around Iceland.

Wonderful Cottage Stay

Absolutely beautiful location, amazingly cute little cottage with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The farm has a lovely river and is between two breathtaking mountains. The kitchen has everything you need and the owners are friendly and welcoming. The only thing I would change would have been to stay longer.

This was our favorite stay during our trip to Iceland. The cottage had everything we needed. The best part was that our screen door opened up to a large lawn where the owners’ sheep graze. We were free to walk around and explore the property. We even tried to herd the sheep. What an amazing experience!
