"Saw a ton of people complaining they had to take their shoes off. When you realize this hotel caters to many fishermen, you understand they don’t want the dirt and mess tracked through the hotel. I thought it was a great idea. They had slippers there if you wanted them. The hotel has a wonderful sitting area and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Loved the hot tub after a long day of driving. The dinner service had ended as we got there at the end of September and they were soon to close for the season. So the only downside was we had to drive into town for the only restaurant that was open. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel in season (and even out of season when open). It’s right on the river Blanda and it’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful nature around you."

"Hotel Blondous is located right on the ocean. There is plenty of parking. The hotel rooms are located in the main building and there is a separate building with the apartments. The property is very clean! And the staff was very nice. The included breakfast was a nice treat and it had a good choice of food."
