"The room was neat, clean, comfortable and historic. Every member that works there is the absolute epitome of what hospitality is supposed to be. "They moved my reservation at the last minute to a different hotel. When I called to ask why, they informed me that the room I reserved and paid for , has a sink fallen through the floor and it is not safe. When I asked how many such rooms are all having the same problem? Or if it is just one room has this problem, why they decided to move me? The answer I got was because I am staying only one night. This reveals a lot of problem about this hotel."

"Wonderful place at a great price. The garden and fountain is nice, and I enjoyed hiking on the trail in the back.. Front desk staff were excellent (especially Riley). My only negative is that I was there for a week, and never received housekeeping services. They did stop by once, and I asked them to return in about 30 minutes, but in a week it didn't happen. It won't affect my willingness to return- I will definitely be back- but it would have been nice."

"Sheets where clean and bed looked perfect and not just slopped together! Lobby, hallway and room smelled clean!! Clerk was friendly and helpful! All amenities worked and nothing alarming for broken. Sadly I managed a hotel so my expectations are higher than most. Some hair on bathroom floor behind door. Fridge shelves had a few crumbs on it. Floor could of been vacuumed better. Overall for some review on other hotels I passed to come here was top notch. Will return when I'm in the area."

"This is an Okay place to stay--the staff is friendly and eager to help. But the place is pretty old, and not soundproof at all. Even though it's a non-smoking place, there are cigarette butts and cans littered on the grass."

"Provided everything we needed. Simple exercise room with free weights and benches, elliptical and treadmill. Room and bed were both comfortable."
