"We stayed with relatives in two of the water's edge rooms at the end of August. The view from the rooms are amazing. The front decks actually go out over the water so it feels like you're on a cruise ship. It was so peaceful and quiet because the rooms are at the farthest end of the resort. The beds were very comfortable as well. The food was amazing. We enjoyed all the dinners. We especially liked the braised beef and the carrot fennel soup . The chef was so kind and came out to talk to us and shared the soup recipe with me. The breakfasts were plentiful and filling .The lunches were a little on the heavy side ,more like dinner fare. The only negative side to the meals were the lunch plates. They are just paper on a plastic tray. This is fine for french fries and a hamburger perhaps. But if you're eating something wet like pasta or trying to cut a steak like we were the paper just disintegrates underneath the food and then you end up eating some of the paper. Actual firm paper plates may be a good alternative. The only other negative thing about the trip was the hot tub. There are signs clearly saying no children under 17. The hot tub was constantly full of little kids and nobody was policing this including the
parents who were also ignoring the signs and letting their kids go in the hot tub. Besides these two things we all had a very nice and peaceful stay and would return again ."
