I was not impressed when the front desk gave someone a key to my room at 3am without checking ID.. luckily it was a friend playing a prank on me and not something more dangerous.. still very concerning security wise"

"We truly enjoy an escape at whitecourt's Western Budget #3 as often as we possibly can. It's affordable, clean, friendly, and the jacuzzi rooms make a person feel grand. The staff there is incredible! Always willing to help with whatever your needs might be, and very kind. The free continental breakfast is pretty darn good and the breakfast room is incredibly comfortable and sweet up so nicely. It's really the only place in Whitecourt that my husband and i are willing to stay nowadays."

"I was charged for a safe service and I noticed it later. They should not be charging us for that. We have not used it and the customer service should keep us aware about this fee. When I was adjusting the water before talking a shower, the shower curtain fell on me and the metal pipe hurt my back so bad in my back and my head. My 4 y o child was with me and it touched his head a little as well."

"We just stayed one night. The carpets had just been cleaned, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The lady who checked us in at 11pm was very nice. The breakfast was typical for a continental. Overall for the price we would absolutely stay here again."

"No bathmat to prevent slipping in tub. Huge liability. Clean Room, some small maintenance item but overall impressed with the stay. Breakfast was excellent and staff in restaurant was fabulous. Michelle (Waitress) was incredibly."

"Don’t be fooled by the Best Western name. What made the experience even worse was the customer service. When concerns were brought forward, staff and management were dismissive and my concerns were not taken seriously. Staff were also taking personal calls on speaker phone. I would also recommend that guests carefully review their credit card statements after their stay to ensure all charges are accurate. In addition, the advertised amenities did not match what was represented when booking....
