"It was our second time staying at Grey Pine Lodge. We had a king room on the second floor. Everything was perfect - clean room, comfortable bed, no issues with the door lock like we had on the previous stay."

"Hotel is wonderful as we have stayed there in the past but this time when checking in they charged us a parking fee. I will be looking at different hotels in the future."

"Room very clean and it was quiet."

"I have to say, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at when just needing an off the highway stop over! The place was bright and clean right when you walked in the lobby. The woman behind the desk was pleasant, checked us in and then informed us their coffee and drink station was for 24-hour use! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we really liked the bench/storage seating with the hooks above them. Very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The room was clean enough. But the beds were uncomfortable. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. The staff members who greeted us were friendly, even when the computer slowed down as they were trying to check us in. The elevators had a terrible odor. The location of the hotel was convenient - there were plenty of restaurants nearby and it was close to the main routes we needed to access for our trip. Friendly staff maintaining the breakfast area. The food was fine and there was a nice...

"Room was ok. The pillows on the beds a very flat. The free breakfast is very minimal. The vending machine needs to be updated to have a credit card reader. There is no seating area to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Just one table and two chairs right next to the front desk window. Our room was close to the front door/front desk area so there was a lot of foot traffic outside early in the morning. We only stayed for one night thankfully."

"Close to downtown Staunton, a very charming city. Staff members were friendly and responsive."

"Non-smoking room had awful stale cigarette smoke smell. TV remote was missing batteries. Large stains on chair. Bed linens were dirty. Towels were washed but stained. No towel racks in bathroom. Floors were dirty. No hand soap at sink. Bedside table had sticky substance on it. Room location was poor with a lot of highway noise. Hotel exterior was in poor condition with no office or lounge area. No breakfast or coffee. Arrived late, so no other room was available. I only stayed a few hours and...

"Clean but bare bones. Bed sat very low on just a frame. No tissues. Only 1 pillow per person. No amenities such as shampoo or bodywash or hair dryer."

"Very clean quiet motel. Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again"

"The room was clean, breakfast typical fair. However, the room was not soundproofed and we did have noisy neighbors. (Not really management's fault)"

"Rooms were clean. Even rooms get to hear the train go by during the night."
