"Everything was excellent for my family of 4. The room and balcony were clean and tidy, and provided enough room for my family. The continental breakfast was perfect as well, with healthy, quality foods for my kids and me. The convenience of also having the restaurant on site was a bonus that we took advantage of. Being in the water with the balcony and ambience created the great setting! Will certainly be returning when i come back to the area and will highly recommend!"

"This was our second stay. Great location at Gravenhurst's Muskoka Wharf (itself worth visiting) with water views on two sides. Very comfortable, functional and attractive room. Superior complimentary breakfast (far from just a continental breakfast!), one of the best we've encountered, and a choice of spaces (indoor or out) to enjoy it in. Nice pool and hot tub."

"Saucy Willow is off the beaten track and an impressive find. None of us know when booking online from pictures and others giving their reviews what a place will actually be like. We were not disappointed in the least. Immaculate, pristine and peaceful are just 3 adjectives I can use to describe the Saucy Willow. Dave is the owner, he was sure to make time for us as each morning as he prepared for the Continental Breakfast. And btw, extraordinary! If you need a getaway to the Kawartha’s, visit the Saucy Willow. You will be very glad you did."

"The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, the room gave me vibes from when we would go on hockey tournaments but they clearly are in the process of upgrading the hotel and rooms just they didn’t have a ton in the way of amenities."

"Very nice and clean pool. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice to park right outside. Location is not walkable to anything but that’s ok. One item I would note is that the ashtray was located right outside our room so the smoke smell blew right into our window. If I were the owners I would move it to the end of the property so that whoever is needing to smoke can do so without disrupting others."

"Recently stayed here Aug. 14-16. Check in was seamless. A pair of chocolate truffles welcomed us on arrival with a hand written note saying as much. The mattress was firm and in excellent condition, the room was fully pre-stocked stocked with crisp, fresh linens and a mini fridge with several non-alcoholic drinks at no extra charge, coffee pods and a coffee maker. The room and washroom sparkled and smelled of fresh cedar logs, instantly transporting us into Vacay Mode. The complimentary brekky was fresh and generous enough to let us get going on our early morning paddle to explore the lake by canoe or kayak. Fresh, plush towels were available outdoors, too, right near the dock. The sauna located in the gym, the outdoor fireplace and games would also be great to try during a longer stay. I can suggest to offer guests to make marshmallows in summer by the firepit one night of the week. Front of House lead, Justine, took very good care of us and responded to any request we made and checked back in during our stay, in case we wanted to opt in for dinner or brunch reservations. Very attentive staff overall. Would go back here in a heartbeat in another season to continue exploring the area. A magical hidden gem in Haliburton that actually does live up to its 5 star rating. Outstanding service by the whole team. I cannot wait to tell my close friends how wonderful our visit here was."
