Lovely hotel. We stayed in a room in the building next to the hotel. Had a lovely evening meal one night. Nice breakfast but the only niggle was that they did run out of a couple of items ar our last breakfast

Lovely little hotel with great staff and rooms. We were lucky enough to stay in the Lostwithiel room beautifully comfortable bed with a bathroom that was huge. The breakfast was amazing with the hospitality second to none. All in all we had a great stay and will return when next visiting Bodmin.

Hotel is a bit dated and the double room was on the smaller size, but adequate for our stay. Missed not having air conditioning, especially during this hot spell and only having a desk fan to keep cool. Location was excellent, with easy access to both north and south coastlines. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice.

Fantastic stay. My dad has parkinsons and is very tall. The bed and room was very comfortable for him. Staff very friendly my parents were grateful for their help. I will definitely book a room here for them when they come to visit

First impression of reception was a bit of a muddle trying to locate my booking,but was shown to our bedroom which was very clean bright and airy,bed and linen looked new.Please get the small things right,window stays that don't because of the double glazing,net curtains need proper fixings,a days work could fix all the many small things that spoil the good ones.The dinning room and consevatory which is used for breakfast,are very good with fresh flowers on all tables.Cooked breakfast was very good but having waited for a while please don't serve a good meal that has been in the warmer and is getting dry.There is a main road oposite, noisey in the morning quiet at night.For the money could do better but has good off road parking.

Lovely staff & nice food, just needs a bit of renovation on the outside & in the rooms, with silly little things like a information guide in the rooms with things like Wi-Fi codes would be good, and extra pillows available to use in the rooms go such a long way. I rate it 6-10 but could be so much higher if a bit of thought was given to making it better.🤔
