"The breakfast was superb. The hotel building is very old and I appreciated that the old character and charm were enhanced particularly in the lobby area. The bathroom was nicely renovated in an old and elegant fashion. Our main problem was the sofa bed. Very uncomfortable and old piece of furniture that it was difficult to sleep on. "The property looks great but so many issues. Check-in didn't acknowledge my reservation. In the room, no soap or shampoo, no hangers, not enough towels for two. Moved rooms because of road noise and the second room again without enough towels, also lacking flatware for two. Apparently the hotel laundry ran out of soap, which was the cause of the towel shortages. "
