"We loved our stay at Hotel de la Porte Dorée! We really appreciate all the staff there, they helped with anything we needed. Location was great for us, it was a sweet escape from the bustling city center of Paris."

"The place is really good, the area is not that bad, the only inconvenient is that is reasonable far from paris. The good thing: you can walk about 10mins to the metro station. There's laundry, market, bakery, restaurant and a bar close by. Over all I recommend city residence for a placid staying."

"Very nice and convenient hotel for the price. Calm neighborhood with amenities nearby (bakery, laundry, restaurants)."

"The staff and hotel were great. Quiet atmosphere, located near metro, good affordable restaurants, laundromat, and park. It a little further away from all the tourist spots but it's only a 25 minute metro ride away from all of it. Great and safe neighborhood with an outdoor morning market on Thursdays."

"This is a lovely small hotel, perfect for a short stay in Vincennes. It is near both RER & Metro stations with lots of restaurants & small shops. It is a short walk to the chateau & large park. Also convenient for La Cartoucherie. Rooms are very small, but clean & well-equipped."
