We truly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Regency. Nice one bedroom apartment comfortable for three. Within walking distance to bakeries and restaurants etc. beautiful town. Quick train ride into Paris.
Clean, kitchen facilities, helpful staff. Would stay here again.
Stayed here several times. Highly recommended if you don't mind being out of Paris center. Metro, RER, bus, all easily accessible. Town and Chateau de Vincennes are delightful. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
This hotel has not air conditioning or any type of relief to provide ventilation. To add insult to injury, all the electrical wiring and the remotes are faulty where trying to turn on the fan in one place will result the lights turning on in another room. We booked a total of 7 rooms and all of the rooms had faulty wiring and remote controls. Only the lobby has air conditioning which is totally deceiving as all of the rooms were extremely stuffy. We traveled with a family of 23 and I would highly discourage anyone from ever considering booking this place.
There is HORRIBLE smell that comes from the pipes there. I literally had to take nausea medicine the first night. The renovation is fine if the unit. They only give you new towels every 3 days. They only provide cleaning services every 3 days. Guests are expected to bring the trash to a basement level which is like an unfinished basement space. I would never stay there again. I survived it, as they have a no refund policy. Vicennes is beautiful, and conveniently located. The grounds of the hotel also are not kept up. It’s a value stay. I rather throw in another $600 and have a stay with stronger maintenance and without that horrific smell.

Great place to stay with family. Courteous, effective service, good rates. Nice neighborhood as well. Highly recommended
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The neighborhood had nearby restaurants and markets. The room had ample common space and balcony along with storage. I will stay there again.
Set in a charming and walkable neighborhood with many green spaces, access to bakeries, patisseries, butcher shops and a wide selection of restaurants. The room has a full kitchen which makes it a perfect setting for both short and long stays - you can dine out or eat in... Great gym and fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Vincennes is a lovely town. Bakeries, restaurants, markets and shopping very close. Train station is 20 mins away (walking) and ten minutes into Paris by train. The metro line takes you to all the major sites.
We couldn’t ask for more staying in this place. A 10 mins walkable to Metro 1 station. Eateries, bakeries and supermarkets are just around the corner. The hotel is very clean and spacious. Our family are so thankful with the staff. All of them that we meet are very helpful and accommodating, a very special thanks to Ahmed.
Easy access to the city using all Metro lines (bus, RER, etc). Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Used to laundry facilities in rooms with HGV Max properties, though facilities on property (charged to room when we used). Remote control for lights and fans controlled all, so turning on lights turned on lights in all rooms and adjusting fans did so in all rooms
Beautiful rooms. All the comforts of home. Nice ceiling fans, environmentally very friendly, No ac. Multiple dining and shopping within walking distance. Stores close around 8:30 pm

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
We found a bug in the bed and had to change rooms. The new room in the frond building was better and newer. In both rooms we only got one double bed made even though the reservation was made for four people. The parking and the locations is very good.
Check-in upon arrival was easy and they were able to get us into our room a bit early after a long flight and journey on the train which we very much appreciated. Paris was 35C on our arrival and while this hotel doesn't have air conditioning, we appreciate that the ceiling fans were already running. The suite was great, it was nice to have a separate area for our child as well as a kitchen for snacks. Vincennes is lovely and well situated with plenty of options for food and transportation.
First and most importantly the rooms were very clean, spotless in fact. Kitchen was well stocked, even has a dishwasher. Drip coffee maker with decent coffee provided. Construction was somewhat noisy but only during the day so i planned to be out sught seeing then. I hope after the construction is finished it is nicer and they don't lose their great housekeeping team. Next, the hotel is within walking distance of the metro but it is a bit a a walk. You could take the bus to the metro which is half a block away. I felt safe walking at nught as a single woman in Vincennes. I really like the area. Finally, Ahmed and Minto were very accommodating. Ahmed is especially warm and good natured. I was tired and crabby after the long flight and he was very kind to me. Will stay again.
