"The Liverpool Pod is a highly recommended hostal, very close to Goodison Park (15 matches left!), with a walkable distance to the city Center (the buses for going there are available and easy to use anyway), good amenities, well maintained bathrooms and beds and lovely, hard-working staff; wether it's for a long stay or a shorter one (such as mine), I'll take it again for visiting such an amazing city! "I find it very difficult to review this. The staff were absolutely lovely as were the other guests. However, I felt very misled by the advertising. It was extremely noisy (I was woken at 4 am by footsteps above my room and as the people upstairs were dancers, I cannot think anything except it has zero sound insulation). I also didn’t realize it would not provide towels. I paid £95 and then was expected to pay £2 for a towel. Breakfast included was rice crispies or oats. Completely misleading...

"Brilliant property! Really clean, excellent checking in and service throughout our stay. Only downside is the information given for parking. We ended up paying £28 because it wasn’t explained to us that it was free after a certain time. Should have cost us £8. Private parking company so nothing reception could do."
