"This was a charming place to stay. There were sheep in the field outside our window. There were cookies and tea things in our room. There was a nice common room/library with lots of maps and guide books. We had a delicious full Scottish breakfast in the morning. We'd love to stay there again!"

"I stayed for one night and appreciated having an affordable place close to the station, with plenty of shops nearby. I was also happy to find a kettle with coffee and tea, which made for a fresh and pleasant morning. The only downside was that there was no hand soap or shampoo provided, which would have made the stay more comfortable. Overall, I’m satisfied with what I received for the price and happy with my stay"

"Some people were born to host. Maurice & Laureen have created a very special B&B experience for anyone lucky enough to stay. It feels more like a boutique 5* hotel with attention to detail and luxury furnishings. "The room was great value, Friendly staff, clean comfy bed etc Only issue which was my fault for not doing my homework, I hadn`t realized the hotel was on the Gretna services and not in Gretna Green its self! it was to far to walk safely to have a look around and a drink. But other than that great place for an overnight stop while on your way up or down Scotland/England."
