"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "Arrived at the property after travelling for over 2 hours for a 2 night stay, there was a sign on the desk stating the boiler had broken and there was no hot water. They had known about this for over 24 hours and had not got in touch so we could make alternate arrangements. Due to this we, and the late notice we could not find anywhere else. They also stated they could not give us a refund and this would have to be done through Expedia so we would not of had the money to stay somewhere else anyway. The staff were very nonchalant and care free regarding this and could not answer why we had not been updated earlier, they did not try and help us in any way."
