"We had an enjoyable overnight stay at the Minster Hotel. We'd been given a room upgrade and it was lovely and clean and spacious. Everything you needed with tea and coffee and biscuits supplied. Bathroom was spotless. The bed was so comfortable and had one of the best sleeps ever. Staff very welcoming , polite friendly and extremely helpful. "Check in was a very pleasant experience. We took advantage of the luggage check and on return to the hotel for check in our bags had been delivered to our room. We were even showed to our room, a nice touch. Room was very clean and the bed comfortable. A million dollar view from our room across a quiet street. Would definitely stay again."

"A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. "Lovely, helpful people! The beds were so comfortable with amazing soft sheets. Breakfast was very hearty that one didnt ned lunch. It is above a pub but you couldnt hear the noise below. Karaoke night was so much fun. Very close to everything without being in the center. 10min walk to the train station. 2 min to york minister, the wall and hop on hop off buses. Highly recommend!"
