They have basic amenities that I am looking for whenever I go to Boracay. WiFi could be an issue, but good enough to send emails. The best thing about this propery is its location. You're sandwiched between Discovery Shores and Ambassador. A few steps from the hotel itself is the pristine White Beach. They don't have direct access to the main road, but if you don't mind walking a few minutes, this property is a steal.

Arrived Boracay, off-season July, with no reservations at all. Sat on a wall with my tablet for over 2 hours, studying my options on Expedia, to try to make decision, evaluating all properties from their characteristics/reviews. My gut led me to choose this one; price was excellent around USD $30, it was at the upscale north end of White Beach (nr. station 1) and was ACTUALLY BEACHFRONT. I was not disappointed. It's not a luxury property but the location on Boracay, at the quieter, classier north end of the beach, is superb; on unquestionably the very best section of the entire beach--widest, cleanest, prettiest. Walkable to Stn.2. Price off season most reasonable; staff friendly and helpful---cleaned my laundry for $6. Negotiated a bit on extended stay. 24 hour number available for any after hours issues. Only issue, which others commented on, was the poor/unreliable on/off wi-fi, which the property is aware of and will presumably fix soon. A non-luxury-needing traveler who wants a solid, clean little room in the best location on Boracay, cannot go wrong with this property at this price. No elevator may be consideration for some; also, no direct entry from the road. Must walk along the beautiful beach with luggage to get to it! CNN International & A/C worked. Charmingly, did hear a rooster at 4:30 AM, and a cute gecko ran up my wall from the air conditioner area, but that's part of the charm of being in the Philippines, part of exotic travel! Solid budget choice!!

Hidden treasure at Station 1

It's a hidden treasure at Station 1. For practical traveller who wants to enjoy the perks of being in a prime location but pay less, MR Holidays is the best place to be. Just a minute away from the beach front and accommodation is spotless.

For the level of the pricing medium it was overall average yet quite comfy the bed was rather small this also the bathroom was in pro ventilation the window can not open in the room and the bedroom was quite tiny for our needs access to the bed was limited to one side as well

MR Holidays Boracay Station 1

Average accommodations but great location. If you want to enjoy the peaceful natural beauty of Station 1 Boracay White beach at an affordable price, this is the place. If you want the busy nightlife and party atmosphere, this is not the place.

Clean and comfortable hotel on the beach

MR Holidays was really great! Our room was really clean and neat. The showers in our room were warm and when you go down to swim in the water, they offer clean beach towels available 24/7. It's located in Station 1, which had a really clean beachfront (other areas had a lot of algae at this time). The staff was really friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again! The only downside was the weak wifi signal. Wasn't a big issue for me but just in case you have business to do on the computer, or emails to check.
