"We stayed in Novotel Bordeaux Lac for 5 days and had a lovely time! Our room was comfortable and clean, the food at the hotel restaurant was very nice, the staff kind and helpful and our 9 year old son also enjoyed the games room which had an XBox and a bar football. Highly recommended!"

"The area is really only good if you want to be near the convention centre. There's a bunch of hotels out this way that presumably exist solely for the convention centre. The area is not picturesque by any means. Having said that - if you want to be in this area, this is a good little hotel. Not luxurious but the rooms are comfortable. it's nice and quiet and dark at night if you close the blinds. I slept well here, despite my room being near the kitchen. "Horrible female staff. Closes breakfast buffet at 9:30 AM. Very noisy cleaning staff starting at 8 AM. Staff cares more of themselves than the client. I will not come back to this place ever again."
