"We received a very warm welcome from hosts Jackie and Rob and our stay was absolutely exceptional! Our room was clean, neat, well appointed, with a refreshments tray including lovely homemade cake and the folder containing menus and directions for the nearby pubs for meals was well thought out and presented. "Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

"Lovely clean room, excellent staff, great kitchen. BUT… green light in room not conducive to good sleep, and the fire alarm went off at midnight, after which the excitement seemed to evoke some guests to chat and laugh through the night until 3am, then the same group of four men woke up and continued their frivolities from 5:30am until they left just after 7am. Not the staff’s fault. But the sound proofing is poor."

"Nice hotel just needs ripped wallpaper replaced ,hallways looked shabby.Room just ok, no wardrobe just a hook on a very squeaky bathroom door.Wasnt told our room key also unlocked main front door so was locked out for 10 minutes at 11.45pm.Staff nice & breakfast very tasty .Gardens also nice"

"Lovely hotel nice rooms and really comfy beds. Breakfast was really tasty plenty of choice and really tasty. Evening meal was disappointing the lasagne overcooked and dry, the hunters chicken had been kept warm for so long the bbq sauce was congealed we waited an hour for our food to arrive. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again but would find somewhere else for our evening meal"

"Clean and tidy room. Warm corridors but air conditioned rooms, which worked well in my room. Staff friendly, lift noisy, car park not the easiest to find. Google maps directions to it are inadequate."

"Lovely place However, AC was not working and needed to be on when we arrived. Far to hot. When we tiried to turn on, it was broken. A fan was provided, which helped, . But as warmth is insured on arrival during colder days, AC needs the same consideration in the hotter temperatures"

"The room had everything we needed and was good value for the price. But the level of cleanliness was not what we were expecting. Could have done with a deep clean and some new bed linen as it was a bit marked and old"
