"The fitness center and lovely spacious leafy grounds made for a relaxing stay over on a long road trip. The room was too hot but that was due to unusual weather. Staff were kind and helpful. "

"I don't know what to say other than I have sent my review to YHA with "top marks" for everything. From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. I slept very well & enjoyed the morning coffee in the café downstairs. It was all spot-on and excellent value for money. I will recommend to friends and I would like to book to stay there again. "

"Great place to stay for those fascinated by history. I learned from a local client after our stay how much effort had been put into redeveloping the immediate area by the owners, and now realise how much credit is due to them in keeping the area around the Ironbridge national relic so well kept. Any quibbles about finding the place and the car park are to be expected in such a place, follow the instructions to the letter and it's fine. "A beautiful old inn with modern features in a setting that overlooks the Sevrn River. The staff is friendly and very efficient. The rooms are well appointed and excellently maintained. There is an elegant bar and restaurant where the food and drink was delicious. They have a great entertaining space outdoors where you can have a party or entertain a group. We had a fun and relaxing stay and would happily return."

"Great hotel right next to Telford International centre. The rooms are a little tired but the bed was very comfortable, with pillow choice too. The shower was amazing, powerful!!! Breakfast was very average. We requested a quiet room in what was a full hotel and we got it, end of corridor, no noise at all as we were next to what I think was a boiler or linen room, no neighbour!! We would stay there again, especially we paid £90/night for 2 adults and a child (2 double beds)."

"Very close to the Ironbridge. Plenty of parking. The bar has a good selection of drinks. Very nice breakfast and meal portions are very big, if you decide to dine there. Nice and friendly staff. A very nice short break. "

"It is a 'quirky' older hotel with some nice features. Our room was decorated with purple wallpaper covered with pink hearts and had a plastic flower covered swing in the middle of the room. The bed was very high and quite hard to get in or out of. A small stool would have been useful. Some of the other rooms appeared to be very small. On the plus side the building is old (how many centuries?) with lots of character. The food in the pub was excellent - both the included breakfast and the optional...
