"We stayed in Castillo for 5 days and we like it a lot. There was a good combination of medieval castle vibe and modern comfort. Although we’re mostly driving around exploring vineyards and small towns, we enjoyed the Castillo property, swimming pool and beautiful nature."

"Sehr schöne alte Klosteranlage. Alles sauber. Personal nett. Kleine startschwierigkeiten gab es mit der Klimaanlage. Konnte aber schnell gelöst werden. Frühstück war gut. Von allem was dabei."

"The pool was so warm that it couldn’t help cool you down in the heat. Breakfast was scarce and lots of flies around the tables. Not much for kids to do. We checked out after 2 night even though we paid for 7 and they wouldn’t consider a refund. The villa at the top of the hill is much nicer with a proper restaurant and 2 pools but it was closed off for a private wedding. I wouldn’t go there again"

"Beautiful property very well maintained. Relaxing, private, quiet and extremely beautiful setting. Rooms were well appointed with nice terraces out front. Staff were very professional and attended to your every need. Slightly disappointed with the food at dinner but the breakfast was good and had an assortment of choices."

"We came to this hotel unexpectedly and were so happy we found it. The staff are truly exceptional, friendly, attentive, accommodating, effective, welcoming. We arrived due to my wife having emergency surgery in Siena, we were supposed to be in Venice, and this hotel staff went to work making sure we were taken care of. "This hotel is just amazing! The view of the vineyards and olive trees are soo gorgeous. We were welcomed with wines and generous amount of tidbits. The rooms were extremely clean and the shower was great too. What amaze us even more was the breakfast quality; the fruits were probably one of the best quality we have ever had. Simple but tasteful. Couldn’t say anything bad about this place, really! "

"What a beautiful hotel nestled in a vineyard in Tuscany. The atmosphere was incredible, such friendly and happy staff and restaurant. The breakfast was lovely! I could not recommend this hotel more. This was our first stay in Italy on our trip from Canada, we couldn’t have asked for more."
