"I was ready to leave. The air conditioner didnt work. Our room stayed around 75 the whole night. I wet rags and put all over me. To top it off... the suite i booked for my family wasnt held. So my kids were down the hall from me. So on top of a hot miserable night i couldn't sleep due to worrying about my minor kids. I will never visit another one of these properties. "

"Elevators on the main floor were not working. Apparently from what we were told they have been out of service for over a month. Room was comfortable and clean. Rust on wall in shower. Very friendly and helpful staff at check in."

"It was surprisingly clean and very large rooms. Bartenders by the pool were not interested in being there. Front desk were efficient but when we arrived early for check in they would just give canned answers and weren’t interested in helping or providing personalized customer support. But honestly would still go back because the music venue is great and so were the rooms."

"There’s a few spots to eat nearby Whataburger McDonald’s Subway but there’s things if you’re willing to drive a few miles down the road. Boardwalk should be taken off as a scenery because more than half of the stores are closed."

"We had stayed at a different hotel the night before (when this location was sold out) and it was less than ideal. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on the Marriott property and took away so much stress from what had been a pretty hectic arrival into Shreveport. Mercedes at the front desk was absolutely amazing in helping get our room prepared and secured early for us, answer questions and making sure we had everything we needed. "Clean, low noise while I was there Fri/Sat/Sun, helpful staff, no proteins at complimentary breakfast but otherwise ok, no issues parking, good restaurants next door (Outback and Beards seafood), some repairs and maintenance needed but water/ac/lights worked fine, clean linens. I'd stay there again."

"Mattresses were hard. Next to the freeway so you can hear everything. No hairdryer. But it was spacious, clean, easy to get to, great water pressure, and liked that they had a microwave and the fridge was extra cold!"
