AMAZING!!! Do NOT listen to all of the negative reviews. When I first found this listing I was really unsure because there was so many bad reviews. I took a chance and booked anyway. The stay was phenomenal. Check in was super easy and the company/host was very responsive. Very close to train station as well. They sent text messages and even let us know the room was ready for check in around 2pm instead of waiting until 4pm check in. The room was super clean and nice. No issues with anything. Great location walking distance to downtown, south end, china town and more. For the negative comments about shared bathrooms- they are perfectly fine!! We passed them several times in our 5 day stay and they were super clean and the halls smelled really good. The only thing that could be a little better was hotter water for showering but outside of that amazing stay and shower was still warm. I made sure to take pictures because with all of the negative reviews- photos help.

We stayed there for four days. The heaters were not working, I got almost sick. And the customer service was awful. I hope you will find better place to stay

Solid 2.5 if I could. Very nice bed, linens, towels. Building is charming and OLD: narrow uneven squeaky stairs. Nice paint job. Room not NEARLY as big as it looks — mine would not fit a bench line in the photos. Dishes sitting in the bottom of the cabinet of the sink, so VERY thankful for the fresh sponge & dish liquid. Bring AirPods/earplugs—door, stairs, highway and train are noisy. So is the HVAC, which drowned out all the other stuff. Easy to keep the room at comfortable temp. Super easy check in/out and very convenient to convention center. Expect what the reservation photos show, not what the property pics show. Doable but not as nice as portrayed.

My stay here was great. I was so surprised when I got into the room and saw that it was more spacious than I had thought it would be, especially for the low price. The bathroom was small, but it was private and all that I needed. The little kitchen area was great. There was even a hot plate that I could have used if I wanted. I've never seen that in any place I've stayed . I just lived it here.

It was a travesty. The room did not resemble the pictures on the website at all. Wallpaper peeled from the walls, baseboards filthy, drain in the shower was an open hole. Heard noise in the night, turned on the light and a mouse ran across the floor. I would not stay here if you paid me.

Great central location, but very over priced for what you get. Felt like I was going to fall through the floor. Super old building and nothing works that well. Internet on tv didn't work. Bath plug/stopper didn't work. Electric hotplate didn't work. Don't bring a large suitcase as the stairs are very narrow and steep and I had to lug it up to the 4th floor.

Kitchen setup was just a microwave and a mini fridge. The fridge was definitely welcomed. Room was clean, and room itself was in good condition, not perfect, but good for the stay. Walking distance to a lot of things was a huge plus. Back Bay Area is definitely desirable as the other areas tend to get so crowded, noisy, and not easily navigated.

Place was easy to find and great location. Bed was super comfortable. Only draw back is that they building and rooms need some repairs and maintenance. Wallpaper peeling and several holes in ceiling.

The furnace was too hot and we were unable to turn it off. The room came with an AC unit but the combination of the hot air from the furnace and the cold air from the AC unit was uncomfortable.

If you're low maintenance and traveling alone and can ignore the shared bathroom part, it's perfect. I'm all of these things so my stay was pretty good. I just needed a bed to sleep in at night and the mattress was comfortable. Not bad.

The room is tiny, just big enough for the Queen size-bed and you have to step over the corners to go to the other side of the room. The bathroom was clean but also tiny. At night on our last day, we kept hearing noises, and my wife noticed it was a rat chewing on the trash bag. That experience ruined it for us and we were more than ready to go! After finding the rat, we did find mouse traps in the room. Also, we asked where to store the food trash to remove the temptation for the rats, but we were instructed to leave it in the room. We wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Pay another $20-80/day and stay elsewhere.
