This is an older building with a lot of charm. It's not slick or sleek, so if that's what you are looking for, don't stay here. The room was large and well stocked. The bathroom was quite modern. I love it here! It's not a chain hotel with a gym and a pool, keep that in mind. The food was excellent and the service wonderful.
Ocean is within view of the room we were in, however this photo was taken from the parking area. The hotel itself is a little farther back.

The restaurant was excellent. The experience with the hotel not so great. 1. I arrived at the hotel at 2 45 pm. It is a steep walk up 6 or so stairs to get into the hotel, which was difficult for me to get my suitcase up. No one was there. I had to sit around and wait for staff to show up which was 3:30 or so. There are no other businesses around. It is 1 and a half stories up to the first floor of rooms with several stairs. Lucky for me, the gentleman that checked me in carried the suitcase up for me. The room was fine and the shower/bath was also fine. When I left in the morning, there was no one there. I had to get my suitcase down by myself and there was no breakfast, no coffee, nothing. And because no one was there, I was unable to get a receipt and there was no one there to help me get a taxi to the airport. I would go to the restaurant again, but I wouldn't stay in the hotel again.

Parking was 20 feet fr9m the front door. Of course, it was November! The hotel staff is wonderful. Two staffers sat on the lobby couch in the morning and provided local knowledge and tips on getting into Boston without using my car. The restaurant food is top notch. Seems like the whole town comes to dinner each night.

Great place for an east coast get away, located right next to the ocean with beautiful views, a convenient restaurant (surprisingly good - ate there three times and wasn’t disappointed once), and a cozy bar right downstairs. The hostess Charlotte was gracious, enduring my complaints about a mix up with a billing receipt on Expedia with composure, and all of staff at the restaurant were lovely and very accommodating (Nico, Lois, and Mary - thanks for making our trip special). The place has a lot of charm and I'm very glad we chose it over a modern glass high rise in Boston.
