Very squeaky bed. Very dated bathroom. Nowhere to park. Hotel parking is gated with a code to enter, can’t park anywhere while you check in and get the code.

Lunatic receptionist.
After a long day of travelling we arrived in the early evening to check in. We were greeted by the most unhelpful and rude receptionist I have ever met at a hotel. We used out relatively small but useful french vocabulary to check in, this was fine for the first couple of rooms, but when it came to the last room there was a problem. Instead of trying to explain to us in the receptionist’s basic English, she just started shouting and barking at us in French and asking us to pay for this room, despite the fact we had already prepaid all the rooms. After nearly an hour of shouting at us and ignoring us, she eventually gave us our final room. This experience was absolutely terrible and left us very upset and distressed. The room itself was clean, tidy and basic; everything you expect from an ibis budget.

Cheap accommodation and so do not expect luxury but the room is clean, a good size and has a reasonable ensuite shower. No English spoken but this means i have to practice my French which is good. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Very poor
No sink plug when asked for one, didn’t have one to fit. Eventually changed room, again plug no good, broken. Shower very small. Toilet squashed into corner. Bedding and towels very poor. Nothing like the picture on web site. Had a job to get in between the two beds. Only one chair. Used other Ibis hotels and they were good. I know it was a budget hotel but even so it was not up to standard. Needs visit from “Under cover Boss”

Booking in was terrible took ages! Room was very basic but main problem was the smell coming from toilet must be a backed up sewer somewhere, on arrival we could open window, but when we got back late that evening the window was locked, so could not get any fresh air!! Breakfast looked awful, so we did not have, just went out to eat. Would never stay here again, absolutely terrible stay. 😖

A budget hotel was really what it was! No coffee/tea facilities. decor a little tired. Almost a hostel? Not in the best area of town. But get what you pay for, we only used as a stop before getting the ferry

Best way to describe this hotel... it’s what 2* dreams are made of.....budget (very budget and I don’t mean the price) hotel in not the best part of the town. Dirty nappy and underpants outside the window, mould on the bathroom ceiling, shower curtain had it’s own ecosystem evolving, toilet didn’t flush properly and drains had a certain “odour” about them which gently went on to complete the atmosphere in the room throughout the evening! But on the plus side... the floors weren’t sticky.

Extremely dissappointed
We only stayed in the hotel for about 30 minutes! The room with ensuite smelled strongly of bad drains, the sink and shower basin were cracked, the room was extremely basic, the bed looked like a camp bed and the towels were like bath mats. We opened the window to air the room, but as soon as we closed it the smell returned. So we asked to be moved to another room. The unfriendly, bordering on rude, receptionist refused saying they were fully booked which was not true as we had checked online. She came up to the room to solve the problem with an enormous air freshner!!! We left and booked into another hotel. Twice we have sent a complaints form to Ibis but have had no reply. We have stayed in Ibis hotels before and have always been more than happy with their service, so this was very dissappointing.

Basic accommodation for a basic price
The hotel is like a hostel in a tower block. The room was very basic with wood chip walls and ceiling. When I had a shower the floor was flooded which explained the damp smell. The staffs were helpful and pleasant. Secure fenced parking was great for our loaded car.

Uncomfortable beds so no thanks.
A budget hotel in a handy location. Cheap secure parking and free WiFi. The room was clean although the bathroom was tired. No elevator and an uncomfortable bed means we wouldn’t stay here again.
