"Barton Cottage is a lovely property in the beautiful Bourton on the Water. There is a lot to do just walking around the village (kid friendly)and nearby villages. There are great dining options nearby. We enjoyed the comfortable living room. We did have trouble finding the property and couldn’t get ahold of the management service. "The hotel room was cleaned daily and was done to a high standard. Staff from booking in to checking out were friendly and polite. Good breakfast enough to start the day off. Couldn’t fault it . Evening meals are of a high standard and I would recommend anyone to eat there. Parking was a little on the tight side particularly during the day time. "

"Fantastic stay at the Lansdowne. We were here on a girls trip and the Oakey cottage was a perfect home base! Easy parking right in front, 5 minute leisurely walk from shops and restaurants was amazing. Breakfast every morning was fantastic and the manager was always there kind and cheery greeting us in the morning which we enjoyed. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return in the future! "The room was generally clean, but the en-suite had quite a bit of mould across the ceiling and the shower felt cramped, despite the large cubicle, due to the shower itself being squashed into the corner of the cubicle.The furniture is somewhat 'distressed' , but the bed was very comfortable and the duvet was great. "We stayed at Lansdowne Cottage for two nights. The location was excellent — a short walk to Bourton-on-the-Water with its riverside views, shops, and restaurants. The cottage was cozy and had helpful amenities like a washer-dryer and utensils, though some items needed washing before use. Towels were limited, and we had to reuse them during our stay. The main issue was the heat. We visited during a heat wave, and the cottage had only one small fan. Another was provided on request, but it wasn’t...

"Beautiful location on the outskirts of Bourton on the Water. Within easy walking distance of the centre. Totally dog friendly. Excellent and plentiful provisions for breakfast. Everything you would want when away. Definitely would go again."

"Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "
