The lady at reception (didn’t get her name but she worked 1st Nov) ran around the hotel to sort out the room for me straight away. Room was super clean, quiet and stylish. Had the peaceful weekend I was looking for! "

"Lovely hotel with lovely traditional decor. We had a room with the beautiful lake view. Spacious, very clean room & bathroom. All Staff very helpful. Davinia, Dave & Alex at reception very nice & friendly. Food was Very good. Special thanks to waiter Andrew who brought us a plate saying "happy 40th anniversary" in chocolate. Spa & pool was lovely and relaxing. Boat cruise to Bowness was also relaxing and very interesting. "

"Really good food from all thd menus including Alexanders pub. Staff were really helpful including arranging for food from yhe pub to be brought to yhe restaurant for a a petson with fietry requirements. Pool was fantastic and a member of our group was very pleased with the spa treatments. This Hotel is a little gem."
