"Property is off the beaten path. Very quiet. Rooms are clean and modernized. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Property is beside open fields and trails. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Easy access to the pub and the restaurant. Breakfast included lots of options and was ample. A great overall experience."

"Room wasn't what I was expecting- I thought I had booked a larger, more updated room. It was okay but not what I pictured. It was clean and big enough for us but needs to be upgraded. Staff had limited hours and I was leaving very early- I tried calling and texting a number they listed but no response- luckily my daughter could hand in the key. Front desk only greeted when we arrived. Would've been nice if he was friendlier. Shower was always hot (tried to get them to fix it but he couldn't do...

"Absolutely picture perfect. I needed to escape, unwund, and relax in nature. Be careful what you wish for, you may never wish to leave. The family run location is stunning and they couldn't have been more caring or accepting if they tried. The lcoatio is outside a small village. The nearest restaurant, shops, etc.. is a 10 minute drive.. which made it even better for me. Absolute silence at night.. and the sound of nature in the morning."

The hallways were grimy, the shade on the window was tied closed so couldn’t see outside if you wanted to, although there was tea/coffee set up-only decaf was available and the milk pods were curdled. The decor was non-existent, totally barren and cold-Fluorescent overhead lighting, tiny bathroom, a larger person would not be able to fit in the shower, sitting on the toilet your knees almost touch the sink which was inches from...

"We stayed for three nights at Marlborough House in September. We found the entire place to be very fresh and well maintained. It had a feeling of being recently renovated that was very enjoyable. The single room was spacious with a table, desk and cupboard. The bathroom was small with no place to put your things around the sink, as is very common in England and Europe. The shower had us a bit puzzled at first but we eventually figured it out. You don't use the bathtub taps at all. Use the left...

"The room was away from the busy street, so it was very quiet. The picture of the place was misleading... It was a picture of a picture on the wall. Our main complaint is that it was advertised as including breakfast. But 2 days before arrival, we got a message that because of costs, breakfast is not served. No offer was made to reduce the price."
