"We spent 2 nights at the Old Registtry which is perfectly situated on the Main Street of Haworth and a great location for exploring the area.
We stayed in the Tudor room. The photos make it slightly more glamorous than it is but nonetheless, a clean, good sized room.
Due to the age of the building, everything is a little creaky.
Tea and coffee facilities provided including decaffeinated option.
TV in the room but unable to log into Netflix or Amazon due to buffering so you are limited to terrestrial channels.
The room was on the same side as the main road but wasn’t too noisy.
We had breakfast which was good however only one member of staff taking orders and serving. This didn’t delay breakfast coming out but did mean several tables were left with dirty plates on throughout our meal.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We didn’t eat in the restaurant but we did attempt to have a drink in the bar.
Unfortunately, although the bar is stocked, they don’t have a license so we were unable to purchase alcohol.
The staff were very kind to direct us to alternative venues but the weather was horrendous. We’re not big drinkers so we didn’t mind. The staff offered us tea and coffee which we accepted and spent a pleasant evening in the bar area playing board games.
One thing is there’s no parking outside so you’ll need to find off street or paid parking nearby.
All together a decent stay and I’m sure once they get the bar up and running, this will improve the venue."
