"We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The space was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. It was the perfect size for two people, offering plenty of room to relax while still feeling cozy. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind and enjoy our time together. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing cabin experience!"

"Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. "The ceiling had water damage, the bathroom tub was not cleaned well.. the comforter smelled like armpit, the door peep hole was painted over… the property outside and the all other areas were clean and smelled good. It was quiet and the property is beautiful with the tables to sit outside and the river in the property… I wouldn’t mind staying here again but I would inspect the room I am getting… ample parking, no free breakfast, coffee area available around the clock for free… again, it wasn’t a...

"The building and grounds need maintenance. There's rotting window sills and rain damage on the ceiling, spots of bleach on the carpets and the doorknob of a closet came off in my hand. The TV in the room is incredibly small, the size of a computer screen. You don't come to a hotel to watch TV but like showers, you expect a nice experience. The breakfasts were ok, but not great."

"Everything was as expected and quite nice. Front desk sometimes unstaffed at peak times but otherwise everything was clean and well maintained and friction-free."

"The place is in dire need of a makeover. In the bathroom... No exhaust fan... Hinges and towel racks are rusted... Wall paper is peeling off the walls... Tub/shower faucet is connected wrong. Hot is cold and Cold is hot... Door has noticeable cracks. The front half of the room had no lights. Until this place get renovated, I will not stay there again."

"The woman at the front desk was very polite and helpful. The room wasn't the cleanest, there was either dust and/or mold on the valance and curtains. The floor was dirty, had to walk around with shoes or flip flops on because my feet were filthy from walking for 5 minutes. Looked like smeared blood on the wall and saw possibly a roach in the room."
