"The property is not far from Brighton City Centre. The price was reasonable. We did not have dinner there, but the breakfast was excellent, good menu with lots of choices. It was good quality food and delicious. We would be happy to use the hotel again."

"Lovely hotel, lovely staff, good pub. We had a nice stay. Unfortunately, we were there when temperatures were 30C and above, and there is no air conditioning, making the nights difficult. Also, they could improve the quality of their linens. Sheets are a bit scratchy."

"Different kind of stay- think upmarket Airbnb but as a hotel. No staff on site- (although there was when we checked in as the house keeper and the owner appeared to be doing some maintenance). So all done by email- you get a code to access the doors. Our room was ready at 1pm- so it's an early check in which is good. Room was tidy and clean. "It's a great location. Quiet, but near the shops and seafront. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Not a big room, but what you'd expect for a period property like this. The place itself is very stylish and well decorated."

"We booked a luxury double. It was a very small room. The furniture was a bit tired and had some stains on the chair. Not enough ventilation as could hardly open the windows. No hairdryer in room had to ask for one. Wasn’t worth the money we paid. Didn’t have breakfast. No parking. Wouldn’t stay there again as I know there are cheaper and better places."

The room had a huge en-suite bathroom which was finished to a very high standard and was very nice.
