"The hotel was wonderfully located in Bo Kaap on the slopes of Signal Hill, with a great view over the city. The hotel was of a high standard, with large rooms with lots of characters, clean and comfortable. The hotel had an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner options and the breakfast included in the room rate was good too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a stay in Cape Town."

"There was a spa and message offer posted all over the property and in the lifts, but when I went to the spa, they refused to honor the offer saying that the posted offer was a mistake and I would need to pay full price. It was disappointing to say the least."

"Everything was great. 1. Mainly the daily maintenance and stuff behaviour was so good. 2. I reached around 12 pm and the check in time was 3 pm, I requested them for early check in and they immediately gave me one clean room, thanks for that. 3. There are some good restaurants in the neighbourhood, so it’s convenient. I have some suggestions for the house though: 1. One exhaust fan in the toilet will be helpful. 2. "Conveniently located by shops and restaurants/ bars on Long Street, this hotel is clean and really nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious, the beds super comfy, the bathrooms modern, and the rooms nice and quiet. What really stood out was how thoughtful and helpful the staff were — especially at the front desk. I've stayed here a couple of times now and can't wait to come back next year."

"Hotel reception is on the first floor of the building, which is served by a lift or you can easily walk up a flight of stairs (if you do not have heavy things to carry). First impression of Habitat is that it is modern and clean. My room was on the same floor as the reception and breakfast area. Initially thinking that it would be noisy but it wasn't. "Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Cape Town, very nice and close to many good restaurants. Great rooftop on the 14th floor. Food is very good and prices are reasonable. Only complaint is the service is a little slow and it’s maybe because they are under staff. Overall a good hotel to spend a couple of days."

"I could not comment about the room of the hostel itself much, as I was lucky enough to have an upgrade to the apartment nearby, which was superb with large bed, big kitchen and roof top swimming pool. Very friendly hostel reception staff. Luggage storage was available before check in. Amazing breakfast in Side Bar of the hostel."
