"Unique property with friendly staff and good amenities. Onsite restaurant had a good menu and hot breakfast on weekends was good. Location was close to South Haven and Saugatauk. More of an adult location but did have activities for those kids over 6."

"The outside was not well maintained. The room was ok bathroom was exceptionally small. Little space to put your toiletries and little space for towels. The room had no thermostat but had a stand alone unit and the room was exceptionally cold. Turned that off during our stay and the room was still cold. Not enough parking spaces."

"Check-in clerk was very good - first words after good evening was “the elevator is not working and gushing with apologies” she was able to find us a first floor room as my wife has major back issues and trouble walking let alone stairs Room was modernized recently and very comfortable. Breakfast was all the normal Hampton food but added chocolate batter to waffle - different Very pleasurable overnight stay but expected to be closer to beach area for the price we paid. Would stay there again...

"There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. "

"The room we had smelled like mold and mildew the entire stay. The floor was damp and turned the bottom of my socks black. The manager said the smell was outside but that was absolutely not true and it smelled even worse in the bathroom. They had a strong scented plug-in plugged into the wall behind the dresser, trying to cover the horrible smell. We had to unplug it as it was making us nauseous. We tried cracking the door to air it out (because the smell was constant and never let up), but they...
